About Villiers Maintenance
Villiers Maintenance was built on a simple frustration: too many of the tools sold to tradespeople are made for a shelf, not a job site.
We started out as a property maintenance outfit working across Coventry and the wider West Midlands — general repairs, fixture installs, gate and door hardware, workshop fit-outs, the unglamorous jobs that keep a building running. Years of call-outs meant years of testing hand tools under real conditions: cold garages, tight access panels, jobs that had to be finished before a client got home from work. We replaced a lot of gear that didn't hold up.
That's the reason Villiers Maintenance now also runs an online tool store. Every plier driver, vise and wrench we list has either come out of our own van stock or been vetted against the same standard: does it survive a full working week, not just a demo. We're not a big-box catalogue reseller. We're a small maintenance team in Coventry, CV4, who decided the tools worth trusting on-site were worth making easy to buy for everyone else doing similar work.
